Yesterday was a rather exciting day with Bobbi!  We started off the morning with a nice 2.75 mile run in the rain (!!!) and then heading off to where Bobbi teaches KICKBOXING!

Now let me tell you, I have absolutely no coordination what-so-ever, so when you tell me to do steps and punches and things like that all together I look like a total raging dumb nut.  I’m basically flopping around like a fish out of water. Hahaha…no joke, that’s the best way to put it (I can only imagine how dumb I’m going to look when I go and take a Zumba Class with Gina in the future hopefully!)

Overall it was exciting, and I used a lot of muscles that I’ve never use, ever!  I really liked the sequence of things like cardio and then boxing and all the kicking!  I really really liked the kicking!  I felt like a super powerful woman!  Haha!

We hurried off after the hour class to clean up, inhale food, then run off to shop shop shop!  I had one of our pumpkin chocolate chip scones we made Friday night, with a little bit of peanut butter…and then a banana chocolate chip cookie (what!?).

I didn’t get too much stuff but I’m basically only shopping for my family anyhow.  Mom is done, Craig and Eric have half of their stuff, and Dad…well, we’ll figure that one out soon (hopefully).  We had lunch at the outdoor mall and I got a veggie sandwich from Togos w/ no cheese and the dressing on the side.  Didn’t fill me up for long.

The rest of the evening was spent driving in the pouring rain back home then helping mom with a few things, playing with the yoga videos on FitTV (they’re quite nice, but I was so soar it was ridiculous) and chowing down a few too many TJ’s Peppermint Jo Jo’s…which might explain why my belly is on the fritz this morning!

I had a solid night of sleep, even after getting to bed late talking on the phone, and had a very simple breakfast for my upset belly: Kashi Go Lean Crunch and H2H…sans the apple.  Body was not feeling it.

I went off to Home Depot to pick up our Christmas Tree with my mom…we have a tradition, or I suppose you could call it a challenge: try to pick the best tree in the shortest amount of time.  For the longest time I held it with my Dad at 5 minutes, but two years ago, my Mom and I beat it by 4.30!  We picked a tree in 30 seconds! Hahah!!!  Basically it was the first tree, obviously. I didn’t go w/ my mom last year because I wasn’t home, but this year I did again, and we got the tree in about two minutes…and it only took that long because we liked the first tree I picked, then she decided to look at a second one, and ended up going back to the first.  Haha…I have the touch for perfect trees I guess!

Now I’m off to try and eat something before I head out for a run…I am SO.SOAR.EVERYWHERE from kickboxing yesterday, but of course in a good way!  Need to loosen up a few muscles now!

Hope you’re all having a great Sunday!  I’ll see you tonight!

It was so nice to meet you yesterday, at kickboxing!
My legs were totally sore today, during my run!

I'm a ballet dancer, but honestly, kickboxing is probably one of the hardest physical activities I have ever challenged myself to do.

Btw, all of the goodies you made during the blogger-sleepover look delicious and picture-perfect. =D
