What a day it’s been! I have been all over the place, and back!
(Btw, you have a few more days to sign up for my Oh Nuts! Giveaway!)
Anyhow, after lunch I headed out into the cold and went to Downtown Sacramento to the Capital Building and other places! I only have pictures from Old Town Sacramento before my camera went, kapoot, and I have nothing else to show of our great Capital! So sad…all I have is a blurry picture from my cell phone that is horrible and not worth sharing. Boo.
But here is where the tea house distributor used to stand…
And of course I had to visit the train yard…my next door neighbor grandpa was a train conductor for years…I miss him. :(
Anyhow, there is also a cool boat/ferry ride you can take down the river that is far too expensive for me to splurge on…
And this absolutely scary looking monument that walked about someone who working in Sacramento…
I also tried out this new bar I picked up at WF the other day! You know me and my love for Odwalla bars; I can’t get enough of them! Anyhow, I’ve tried the Peanut Chewy Bar before and really liked it, though a bit too sweet for me, and this one was the same way. Something about any kind of chewy bar I try…it’s just a tad too sweet. But I did enjoy all the nuts present along with the…
Chocolate chips. Nom.
Overall I’d give it a 4/5. Less sweetness and more nuts please!
I wandered around, found a new top at Forever 21 for my surprise that’s unfortunately not tomorrow, but Wednesday (yeep!) so stay tunedddd…!!!
Home I came and starving I was! Mango that wasn’t ripe enough but I ate it anyhow…
And a huge salad that left me with the worst belly ache ever because it was so huge…but tasty tasty! It was filled w/ spinach, broccoli slaw, mixed stir fry vegetables, cucumber, tomato and a TJ’s Marsala Burger…and a bit of watered town Annie’s Tuscany Italian Dressing.
Now I’m going to watch Slumdog Millionaire…or start reading Pledged that I picked up at Borders today for 4 dollars! Yeah for bargain books!
Have a great Tuesday everyone!
