Lazy and COLD day…

I’m currently trying to convince myself I should get out of the chair and go out to do something productive…I had birding in mind, but it’s currently 35F.  Um, NO.

So instead of getting cold that way, I’ve been eating foods that will make me cold! Haha…oh the irony.

Like yesterday, I had a nice afternoon snack of TJ’s Greek Yogurt, frozen blueberries and a PB bar:

Louisa tried to attack join me as I washed my dishes afterwards:

Freak’n crazy cat.

I did some GRE stuff before settling down and getting some dinner cooked!  And boy was this SPICY!!! I sautéed up a bit of onions and 1/3 of a bell pepper, then added 1/2C black beans, 1/2C Rotelle w/ jalapenos, a handful of broccoli slaw, pepper and chili powder and cooked it all until it was warm.

I sided it with an apple and a ripped up pita.  I needed something to cleanse stop the burning palette as it was so hot!  Yikes!

You will def be seeing this in the next few days as I eat leftovers…

And waking up to it being 35F made me want food that only came out of the fridge and freezer.  Go figure, right? Hah!  I had TJ’s Greek Yogurt, frozen blueberries, an apple, and 1Tb each natural PB and TJ’s Cran-apple butter.

Mmmmdoesn’t that just look so appealing?

Now trying to get the guts to go outside…too bad half the roads are blocked off because of the California International Marathon…maybe I’ll just wait a while…((wink wink))
