My Middle Name is Delayed: Waterpik Review

I am sooooo bad in it has taken me so long to do this review.  I must confess that I actually didn’t get to start using my product until I got home from Texas and back to California, but no excuses now!  I’m sorry Waterpik!

I got an offer from the wonder people at Waterpik back last fall while I was in Southern Texas, and to their greatest efforts tried to get me Ultra Dental Water Jets delivered out there…but it got lost!  They were kind enough to send me the product again, knowing that I would be home to a place where delivery would be more official than at my tow behind trailer.

I prominently returned home and ripped out my new toy to see what this baby could do!  I had read reviews about this product and others Waterpik provides, on some of my other blogger friends sites, but couldn’t wait to try my own.

(I would show you my pictures…but somehow they all have a pink hew from my bathroom and are blurry.  Old cameras do that…)

 

I was really excited for all the different kinds of accessories that were included, especially the Tongue Cleaners.  Not that I can’t clean my own tongue, but this looked interesting…and worked really well!  I was quite surprised actually!

Fresh breath for me!!!

Anyhow, I regularly used the Jet Tips to do some serious cleaning and my mouth/gums were in heaven.  My teeth sit extremely close together and many times I’m breaking floss while flossing because my teeth will tear it apart. I love that this helps prevent me from battering my gums with the floss and doesn’t taste nasty like all the flosses I end up using!  I mean, what could be better than using water!

It took a bit for me to get used to how to work the product (like not forgetting to push the button and squirt myself in the face) but overall I think it’s brilliant!  I am definitely enjoying using it and hope that when I go back to the dentist in 6  months my doctor will only have good things to say!
