Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live in the life of someone else? And I don’t mean just the things they do, but they way they think? I know I have!!!
Want to see a list of just a few, as it contains everything from people in my everyday life to those who are famous, or passed away (ok, probably seems weird, but if they were alive…you know what I mean)!
Family:
My Grandma Satow: Closest grandparent I had. Loved her to bits, with every ounce of my heart. She went through World War II in a Japanese Internment Camp and lost everything but came back, married a wonderful man and had four beautiful children.
My Grandma Gwen: Though not my real grandma, but my next door neighbor since I was born, she has been through everything. She’s had two kinds of cancer and lived through all the treatments and is still up and running like a train (no pun intended since he husband was a conductor for the railroad for many many years). And she makes the best PB Filled PB Cookies. Delish.
Bloggers: (this is simply a few, there are many many more!)
Miss Gliding Calm: Gorgeous, ice skater, world traveler, best product reviewer in the world? And she’s famous for her baked tofu and raw tempeh with pb and j.
Miss Eating Bender: Um, BEST FRIEND EVER. Has her own business, is engaged and planning and beautiful wedding and has the best coffee cocoa recipe ever. How could I resist?
Mrs. Mama Pea: Damn I wish I had her wit. She always makes me laugh, has two of the most gorgeous girls out there, and makes up the greatest vegan recipes on this earth in her kitchen.
Miss Jenny: Two words: OATMEAL CONCOCTIONS. Always provides blogger food envy. And does she not have the most beautiful hair in the entire world? And her recovery? Wonderful, awesome, beautiful, accomplished.
Famous Living:
Kate Winslet: I wanted to be her when she kissed Leo in Titanic. What do you think when you’re kissing that gorgeous man!? And that courage and beauty?
Jodi Picoult: One of my favorite authors. I wish I could write books like that, let alone at all. A writers mind is amazing.
Laurel Graham: I wonder if she has the same attitude like she did on Gilmore Girls? She was so freak’n funny; and I want her hair. It’s always perfect; mine never is.
Paula Deen: Hellooooo BUTTER! I wish I had the gull to bake/cook like that woman. And that smile and laugh? The places she travels to and her adventures? Envy.
There are just a few. Who life would you like to live for a day? What part of them would you want to experience the most?

Today was a long day at home…because it rained and I couldn’t go anywhere. I was kinda glad though as i was pretty tired and needed the extra rest at home. But I sure did start the day off with some great and a meal I’ve been wanting for WEEKS: FRENCH TOAST!!!
I mixed an egg with some UAB, cinnamon and nutmeg and dipped three pieces of Nature’s Own Bread into, cooked on a pan. To keep it nice and crispy I put it on the rack on the toaster and when all done, topped it off with Fage Greek Yogurt, some more cinnamon and strawberries.
Damn I need to eat this meal more often. It just takes me a bit more time in the morning than I have. Boo.
Morning went by staring at a Mac to input data…
And then I kinda go hungry for lunch = snack plate!
Nice crispy pear…
Newman’s Own Organics Protein Pretzels, Sonoma Swiss Chesse, Publix Hummus, Leftover Tofu, Chopped Carrot.
Snacks throughout the afternoon:
Chocolate Pumpkin Muffin with Peanut Butter
A small apple, and two small bowls of various cereals.
Before dinner I went on a 3.8 mile run, walked another .2 miles and then came back and did my yoga video…from heart! I never thought I had memorized it but I remembered the whole thing…but instead of it normally taking 45 minutes it took 35…guess I was going a bit fast. Oops. Still felt great!
While doing yoga and cleaning up I roasted a sweet potato cut into bits with Italian Seasoning, garlic and onion powder with the mandatory ketchup…
And a Morningstar Chick’n Burger on a bed of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Love burgers in lettuce buns!
Now I’m sending out applications because I finally finished up my new cover letter! Thanks to Olivia who helped me out and proof read for me! Yay!
Ok, now I’m going to wish and hope that I hear something back from the applications I send out tonight. Meh…
Happy Humpday!

I would love to be Miss Dean for a day. How much harm can you do with that much butter in 24 hours ;-)

Pretty sure you just made my life three billion+ times brighter with your sweetness :) Thank you for the kind words. You know I feel the same way about you, best friend? I truly have wondered what it would be like to spend a day out in the Everglades and wherever else your jobs have taken you doing such interesting work! Let's have a Freaky Friday moment sometime soon, ok? I wonder if that works half way across the country?
Love you!!
What an intriguing question!
The only one I could think of right now is my husband. I want to know what it feels like to be him, so I can understand his struggles better and help him accordingly. Sometimes I just can't understand him (his picky eating) and it is so frustrating to both of us.
i want lauren graham's hair too lol!!
i'd have to be oprah for a day. just curious.
You are so unbelievably sweet! I too love Lauren Graham and her hair :) I think I'd kind of like to be...hmmm... Without conceit, I'm pretty happy being me. I am excited to see what happens next! I know great things are in store for you too (if you need anymore cover letter/resume help, I'm your gal).
what a fun question :) I've wondered this many times.
I would love to spend a day as:
Barefoot Contessa to cook in her house, spend time in the Hamptons, and joke around with Jeffrey.
My Nany, who's now gone. She was the sweetest person and had the best disposition.
YOU! And your crazy, fun, job :)
that's funny... but can I say I just want to live mine? ;) but it was fun the mind experiment to see whose life I want to live to conclude that I am just happy with mine! :)
Your list of people you'd like to "live for a day" is beautiful... I would like to go back in time and be Shakespeare for a day! Silly of me, perhaps?:-)
Good luck on your applications - you're going to rock them!! My fingers are crossed for you! :-)
Your french toast looks SO heavenly... *dreamy sigh* :-)
There are about a zillion people whose lives I'd like to experience for a day! Among bloggers, I'd like to be Kath of Katheats for a day so that I'd know what it's like to be ridiculously organized. I'd like to be you or the other Melissa (of FitnessNYC) to experience life as a runner. And I'd love to be Heidi Swanson so that I could be a supernatural chef.
But most days, I have to admit, I like being me :)
I'm totally with you on Lauren Graham and Jodi Picoult.
I looooooved Gilmore Girls. I still have a major girl crush on alexis bledel. There isn't anyone more gorgeous than her...
I love Paula Deen!!! People joke about her butter use and whatnot all the time but she is one amazing lady. Have you read her memoir? It made me cry. She literally came from NOTHING to what she is now by working her butt off. Not many people can say that!
I'm just gonna put it out there that I would love to be Rachael Ray for a day. I know a lot of people can't stand her, but I think she's the best. ;)
oh sweets! I'm blushing. you spoil me with words, ya know that?!?!? It would be such a gift to live a day in your shoes miss baking, marathon running, adventure-embarking queen!!!!!!
I would love to be Kristen Stewart.. 'cause..well, I think you know where I'm going with this. Me love Rob Pat! but not as much as I love you, but you already knew that :) hugs!
I ALWAYS wonder about the lives of others. I think I do it more and more now that I read so many blogs. It's hard not to wonder about being the people who share their lives so openly and honestly, ya know?
When it comes to celebs, I'm a little less-than-interested...but it would be fun to be someone like Giada for a day, travel to Italy, cook amazing food, have boobs (lol)...
