Burnt…

…out.  I am absolutely pooped.

Thank you all so so so so so so much for the kind comments and emails from yesterdays post.  I was beyond the feeling of terror today and ultimately overwhelmed with the feeling of confidence, pride and courage.  I knew I could do this and wouldn’t fail like last time.

Breathing is what saved me.  I mean, you gotta breath to live right? I had to breathe deep to stay sane.  And I did.  A bit of hand trembling occurred (and at one point I couldn’t sign my paperwork!) but overall it went well.  Another appointment has been made and we’ll see how it goes.  Fingers crossed…

Alas, the day was a long and hot one.  Again, I drank enough water to drown a whale, and ended up just sweating it all out.  At least I’m giving back all that water to environment via evaporation out of my pores. TMI? Haha…

I promise there is cereal down there somewhere.  A nice mix of PB Panda Puffs, Kashi Puffs/Go Lean Crunch/Heart to Heart.  Of course you see all the berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) and pb…I know you want to eat the screen.  I do…and already know what’s on stock for breakfast tomorrow!!!

While out in the field I had a mini clif bar, a veggie hummus sandwich (made with leftover roasted veggies from dinner last night) and a huge apple.  Felt great to have something crunchy and fresh after 8 miles of walking!

You totally know what I had when I got home.  Other than jumping into the pool, I wanted something cool, ASAP!  In went a frozen banana, frozen blackberries, strawberries and a tiny bit of USAB…omg this was like sorbet it was so thick. I’m totally doing it again.  Do we see a trend here? Haha!  Topped with more PB Panda Puffs

I know you want some…

Then, I went to my appointment.  Maybe I’ll talk more about it later, but for right now I’m taking it all in.  We’ll see.

And for dinner, RETURN OF THE SPAGHETTI SQUASH!!!

Nom nom nom nom nom…

You know I had it my traditional way…with marinara, spinach, chickpeas and other veggies…in this case, broccoli.

All soaked up with a nice big slice of fresh 6 Grain Hearty Bread from the farmer’s market this weekend…and a peach.  Oh you were heaven in my mouth.

And now, I’m going to read and get to bed.  I just want to sleep.  And sleep all the way through the night instead of toss and turn like last night (I’m sure you know why).

Tomorrow’s Hump Day!  I hope it goes by swiftly so the weekend comes to us soon!

YAY for going into the appointment!! It takes SO MUCH effort, I know, but it IS worth it. Don't feel like you have to talk about it on the blog...it's a very personal thing, and if you'd like to keep it private, then don't feel obligated! What's important is that you're making steps in the right direction. You go girl :)

Good for you for taking charge and going to the appointment. I know it is scary, but hopefully in the future you will be happy you went. And yes, that bowl of fresh berries made me want to eat the screen!

So glad to hear it went well! Way to make it through. UM....I want your breakfast...right now. I love the Kashi puffs- they are so good! Have you tried Quakers? They have both wheat and rice and they're amazing! Beautiful dinner. Vegetarian delight! Have a good night
