Water?

What is that?

Because I obviously didn’t get enough of it today.  I slammed through so much today (150+oz!) and have only pee’d…well, not enough.  Lets put it that way.

Anyhow…more smoothie action this morning! I tried the Spiru-tein again, this time in the Raspberry flavor and I was not a fan.  Actually, my belly wasn’t a fan.  But I think it was because I didn’t add enough liquid and it was way too frothy.  It made me a bit queezy.  Lesson learned for the next one tomorrow!

The morning was so freak’n hot…I was pounding back the water and sugary drinks like mad.  By the time lunch rolled around all I wanted was water, no food.  I barely stomached this for the time being.

But I can’t tell you how much I didn’t want something sweet and wanted savory and salty!  I sweat so much when I walk/run/workout it’s crazy!

The only granola bar that wasn’t loaded with sugary products or tasted like sugar cane.  Too bad it was stale.  Whatever, I was desperate and needed fuel.

I just looked at the map and TWELVE miles later (all walking mind you) we headed home and my appetite finally raged!  I noshed on a huge pink lady apple and some kashi h2h, then had a handful of dry roasted peanuts.  And frozen mango pieces.  And was still hungry.  Eep.

I went on to make dinner after some ab work from Kristina’s 30 Day CORE challenge and was excited for some salt!  All I wanted was salt!

And the obligatory fruit, duh.

Fresh Kiwi and blackberries anyone?

Oh wait, what about some TJ’s Vegetarian Potstickers, steamed then sauteed bok choy with cauliflower and tempeh with soy sauce and garlic?  Oh yeah.

And watermelon for dessert.

I don’t think I ate enough today but I’m so tired I don’t care right now.  All I want is water and sleep.  Like, now.

My clean sheets are calling…ZZZzzzzz…

PS. I can’t wait to share with you what I got in the mail today!!!  WHOOHOO!!!!

Yikes girl, be careful in the heat! Hope you get some more water before bed and a good nights rest.

My goodness girl! I have no idea how you have the energy to make such a great looking dinner after the long days. I've heard mixed reviews on the Spiru-tein so I am yet to try it. All the fresh fruit (especially the watermelon) looks awesome!

Sounds like you had a long day and deserve some rest! I don't do well in the heat, and just reading your post made me feel the miserable heat! Have you ever tried young coconut water? I had it first when I went to Asia, but have seen it in the US when I do hot yoga sessions. It has incredible health benefits and is great for rehydrating. It has 3x the potassium of a banana. You might think about trying that after some of your long days!
This is my favorite brand:

I don't know which is worse...craving salt or sweet! Glad you got such a productive workout today or yesterday when you posted!

What a long day you had!

Your sandwiches always look so good - make sure you take some time to relax - and put your feet up!

Thanks for your lovely comment sweet. They are actually inspired by your side note sections... I thought it might be interesting/useful to see them all in one place and look back on my progress!

I'm am SO jealous of the amount of fresh fruit you've just put before me! I'm yet to have my first bit of watermelon this year, so everytime I see it on a blog I just get a bigger and bigger lemming for it!

This title reminds me of Fivel in Fivel Goes West, "Waaaater, I need waaater!"

Drink up! I've been bad about my water intake, too.

That's a lot of water but I can see how you'd need it walking 12 miles! That's one hardcore job, girl!!! You must sleep like a rock at night...
