We’re going backwards today. Because dinner needs to be pointed out first, as it was basically like dessert. How much better does a meal get than that?!
Remember that bowl of PB infused yogurt with apple bits and Attune Granola Munch from Sunday? Oh yeah, I totally had it for dinner. But instead of just using the Apple Cinnamon Munch variety, I also added some of their Chocolate Munch.
It was like eating a pb cup with apples. I bet this would be even better with bananas! Oh if only I hadn’t eaten the last one yesterday!
Before that though I attempted to go on a run with my knee being stupid for the past two weeks. What’s wrong with it? I have no idea; the very tip top of my knee cap keeps giving me an uncomfortable feeling and a tinge of pain. Ideas? It’s weird and have never had it before…and I’m getting new shoes, so that may be the case (though I calculated and only have 275 miles on them). I ended up running about 4.6 miles but had to walk a few times when I felt the pings in my knee. So frustrating and pissing me off.
But before that I had a piece of blueberry chocolate chip bread while doing my last survey…with the day starting at 5.15 am I was tired hungry all day long. An unpictured banana was also consumed at this time. But I figured you know what a banana looks like…
Lunch was leftovers and using up all the fresh foods in my fridge since I’m going to be gone from my apartment for almost 5 days! I don’t want to come back to vegetable/fruit rot! I mixed up a variety of salad veggies and spinach last night, along with two scrambled eggs and brown rice with some ginger sesame seed dressing so it was quick and easy to take out into the field.
And look who decided to join me for lunch! A baby tarantula! He scared the living crap out of me when he basically crawled across my foot. Definitely helped to wake me up!!!
But before all of that breakfast happened. I woke up super early today to get out to my first point, over an hour away, before the sun broke the side the world in which I live. I was excited my oats stayed hot that whole time, because it was chilly outside! You can tell by how the window is fogging up above it!
Again, it was my favorite bowl of oats, cinnamon, vanilla, apples and almond butter. Doesn’t get any better and fulfilling than that.
I’ve got a pretty easy today tomorrow and then a date before heading off to my parents and then to San Francisco!!! Yay! I’m excited for this weekend! And the ones to come! I’ve got some traveling ahead of me! Yippee!!!

I love dessert for dinner sometimes too... especially in the winter. There's nothing more warming and comforting than coming in from the cold winter winds than a nice warm bowl of banana walnut oatmeal.
LOVE this post!! Ive never tried dessert for dinn. but am a HUGE fan of breakfast for dinner! especially if the breakfast happens to be oats! I tried your apple almod butter oats and I am officially addicted. SOOO good!!!
