That Kind of Day

Where it has to end with these:
pics 022
Since it started like this…
pics 002
Along with apple almond butter oats, knee high socks, wool socks on top of that, boots, jeans, thermal top, another long sleeve and hoodie.  And gloves.  And a nose that hurt to breathe.

Do you see that?

Take a closer look.

Uh huh.

Say what?  Of course I made it better by eating a world famous Warren Pear by Frog Hollow Farms.  Words cannot describe.

And my handy and favorite Odwalla Bar.  Need to make my own, asap.
Birds were non-existent today…making me a very sad birder.  Silence can be nice…but when you listen to that for a 1/2hr 7 different times?  Not so much.
I got done fast enough to ditch my sad lunch I brought along for something more satisfying at home.
pics 012
Real cheddar cheese, leftover roasted cauliflower, carrots and salsa.
Then I overcooked my spaghetti squash.  So it’s not stringy, it’s in tidbits.  Along with covering the counter, walls and ceiling.  You heard that right, CEILING.  Sucker flung out of my hand.

I know, boring to the max: spaghetti squash, leftover roasted cauliflower, marinara, pita and hummus.  Oiy.
I know you want these cookies.  They made a mess and my hands were coated in dough, but omg they will bring you to foodgasm heaven.

No joke.
Week is looking normal, with the addition of hanging out with Whit (What the what?!  We have a name people!!!) then a mad week next week over over 40hrs of field work.  With the weather being uncooperative.
I will be buying under armor asap.  Like, NOW.

I can't believe I mistook you for Lana from Thinspired at first...I'm so sorry abt that! But you guys look kind of alike, besides the length of your hair...or maybe I was in a food coma that day, tee hee.

Drooling over those cookies.

I love ending a day with a cookie - they make me happy and there is nothing like going to bed happy!

Can't wait to read more about Whit!

Blogs are taunting me right now. I wanted to make Mama Pea's cookie dough balls as soon as I woke up, but I don't have any powdered sugar. And yours look amazing too. I think I'm gonna have to go to the deli in my PJ's...

You should try wearing leggings under your jeans, it helps a tad! And if you get really desperate, tights under leggings, under jeans. :)

Fleece or flannel lined jeans or Carharts are the most wonderful creation ever! Don't know if they're easy to find where you are, but I lived in my pair last winter...

Mica said...

Can you get flannel-lined jeans??

I've had a spaghetti squash explode in my microwave once - it took me 30 minutes to clean, and still a week later I was still finding bits of squash!

Hope you are having a great week!

I think you should try making your own Odwalla bars too. Then post the recipe so I can make them. :)
