HEAT!!!

OMG it was almost 60 in town today… I.WAS.IN.HEAVEN.

Too bad it only lasted for few hours, and before I got out for my run.  Anyhow…

Look! My breakfast is different!  Aren’t you proud of me?!  I know Honey is; I think she’s gotten embarrassed of sniffing at my oats.  So today she pondered over my greek yogurt and pb flour mixture with an apple and some kashi go lean crunch.

The field was…the field.  Nothing too exciting.  But I know you’re jealous of my Hello Kitty Band Aid.

Had to be worn after I broke my favorite bowl this morning (major sad face).

Moo cow saws hi, or I guess I should say, “Moo.”  She was too cute.

I have a tendency when it comes to nut butters to never use more than a tablespoon, other than my oats where I use a smidge more.  So I figured lets break the cycle, kinda relating to goal #6 for my December Goals, and up the anty for lunch?  1.5T of AB with a banana.  Man I miss this stuff, and never realize until I have it after a while!

I absolutely had to take a nap after I got home, but made it short enough so that I was still running in the sun and some warmer air! I ended up doing a 5.45 mile run in 50 minutes and felt awesome.  It was kind hard though, it being so much colder than what I’m used to and what the gym puts their thermostat at.  Something to think about for my 1/2 Marathon in January!

I have been thinking about potatoes all day long, actually more than a day, since I saw them on Caitlin’s blog.  so I ended up sautéing two mini potatoes (one red, one purple) with a 1/4 of an onion, handful of spinach, some brussel sprouts and the last of my leftover veggies.  I spiced it up with some curry, cumin and garlic.

I paired it with a pear.  These babies are freak’n awesome, but not as good as asian pears.  Too bad those are so damned expensive!

I ended the night with a bit of TJ’s EVOO Popcorn and another piece of banana bread.  Goodness was that tasty heated up…it’s the second to last piece, but I’ve lucked out and made ANOTHER LOAF.  This weekend is gonna be goooooooood.

And like Honey, I’m ready to hit the sack.  I need some serious sleep…there is a nasty diesel truck that starts before 6am and warms up forever every single danged morning…totally wakes me up and makes me lack sleep.  Err…must invest in ear plugs…or louder music to lull me to sleep.

It’s gonna be Friday! Who’s doing something fun this weekend?!?!?!?!?!

Ooh, awesome goodies! Jealous of the pears, I never remember to buy any for some crazy reason! They're so plump and juicy though.

I'm PSYCHED for this weekend...have a huge 12 band concert to go to plus some outlet shopping tonight...going to be awesome!

Wooooo on the 1.5 T!! It's really hard to add more, I know, but the more peanut buttery goodness the happier I am. And I always save the most PB-filled bite for last :)

Hope the weather is good for you today again!!

isn't it crazy when we start to think that 60 degrees is "warm" and people in LA are dressed for the snow??! Lol.
