Buried

It may be cold, everything may be covered in snow…but I’m love’n it!  Especially with the sun out and making it petty!!!

I maybe have been the crazy looking girl walking the streets this morning taking pictures.  We’ll get to that.

I was also covered in goosebumps this morning due to my breakfast:

I have had this lingering craving for a smoothie the past few weeks but with the weather the way it is, I didn’t want to make myself any colder.  This morning, I just couldn’t hold out anymore.  So, into the blender went frozen blackberries, frozen mango, USVAB, spinach and pb powder.  All topped off with a combo of H2H and TJ’s Fiber O’s.  I was in heaven.

Until I was so cold I couldn’t think straight.  Are the clouds really that color with the sunrise? Or are my eyes so cold I can’t see straight either? hehe

Boots and PJ’s? It’s the new fashion.

The roads are closed in and out of town so I’m not going anywhere.  So, since the sun was out and I was bored, I decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood!

I saw one of my best buddies too!  Hello beautiful RTHA!

He was being chased by a raven…I might have thrown a snowball at him/her.  Stupid ravens.

By the time I got home I was pooped (Walking in the snow is hard work! Combine that with the cold and working my core trying to balance on slick sidewalks it was tough!) and immediately dove into a quick lunch!

I just made a normal veggie sandwich with hummus, laughing cow cheese, cucumbers, tomato, roasted bell pepper and spinach but decided to add some of the cauliflower I roasted the other night!  It definitely made for an awesome texture variation and some more flavor!  I paired it with a Caracara Orange and some TLC Crackers.  Nom Nom (as Jack would say)!!!

Now I’m stretching and planning on getting in some yoga to help after that long run yesterday.  My joints are a bit achy today…but it could be that all I’ve done is sit around…negatives to being snowed in.  EEp!
