Oh yes I did! And you're going to be stoked when you hear that it's...$50!!!
The awesome people at iHerb contacted me with an opportunity to review some of their products up to the amount of $50; how could I refuse!? I am all about trying new things and of course tried to get as many things as I could! Here is what I was able to get for my review:
Alba Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion
Alba Passion Fruit Nectar Clear Lip Gloss
Bob's Red Mill Garbonzo Bean Flour
Now Nutritional Yeast Flakes
Navitas Cacao Powder
Navitas Goji Berries
Skoy Earth Friendly Clothes
As I announced at the beginning of the year of the things I want to do in 2011, one of them was to be more environmentally conscious. I have done so already by signing up for an organic produce box every week, purchasing reusable sandwich bags, and getting rid of the last of my paper towels. I hadn't thought of things like lip gloss and lotion but was excited when I saw that alba will help me along!
Their products are all vegetarian and they have products that gear towards conservation like their Rainforest Line! How cool is that! I have been using the cocoa butter after showering (living in the mountains at elevation along with working in the desert dries the heck our of my skin!) and man do I see a difference! Now more rough spots or itching from dryness, even when I forget to put it on! The lip gloss has also been awesome as my lips are always drying out in the field with the wind and dry desert environment. And it's tasty to boot; love the passion fruit!
[source]
But the product I was most excited about was my reusable wipes by Skoy! These are so neat! At 100% biodegradable and each wipe equivalent to FIFTEEN rolls of papers towels I was in! You can use them anywhere from the kitchen to the bathroom and even to wash your car! I've labeled each so they're used for the same place (I don't think I want to clean my kitchen with the one I used to clean the bathroom, eh?) and wow, they are awesome! I use green products from Target, Dawn and Clorox to also help reduce the amount of phosphorus I put into the environment through the water (phosphorus helps algae grow which is bad for underlying organisms in the water like bottom plants!).
I've yet to use the other products yet but will definitely let you know when I do! It will be before the giveaway ends!
So you want to win $50 for anything you want from iHerb!? There are three ways to enter!
