Yep, except this time I couldn’t fix it myself…
Yep, here we go again…
As tough and hard core as I am, I couldn’t get the lug nuts off, and then the AAA guy ended up stripping them so we had to tow the car into town! Gah! After I popped it I even got the idea of giving you all a step by step post of how to change a tire, but alas…
The day started off a bit better though. I was feeling something crunchy this morning so I had a bowl of mixed cereals, including an awesome Yogi Granola Crisps sample I got from the National Products Expo:
I’ve actually had this before but it was in a bigger bag, but let me just say, I’m happy I don’t have a big bag or that stuff would be gone in a split second. The stuff stays crunchy in milk no matter how long it sits and provides just the right amount of sweet to the bowl.
I added in a 1/2 a banana and some strawberries, along with 1/2 C of cheerios. USVAB and the bowl was complete!
I was in a meeting most of the morning then had to drive a ways to get to my field work, where I ate my lunch on the go…just a PB & J Banana Stuffed Pita and an apple a bit later. I had waited too long after breakfast to eat something so I was much hungrier than normal.
A bit into the afternoon I snacked on a muffin with two clementine’s…
Along with braving the elements out on those dirt roads!
Then I popped my tire and spent the afternoon testing my patience…which luckily didn’t run too thin. I had plans to run after work but it was postponed by man hours, and left me hungrier than I should be before a run. I ended up snacked on another muffin while waiting for my tire to be fixed, then shot home as fast as possible to put on my running shoes and slam down on some pavement!
I ran a fast 5.5 miles throughout town in about 50 minutes and after about 10+minutes of abs I was famished! I wanted something fast and delicious so I went for the basics: salad, burger, fruit.
Now my Attune Chocolate Crisp Chocolate Bar is calling my name for dessert and I’m ready for bed. 11 hours of work will do that to you. Yikes!
