Friday Finally

Good God.  I could not have asked for Friday to come faster!  I’m exhausted!!!  But if I have to hear that damned Rebecca Black and her stupid song again, I’m gonna kill someone.  No joke, I hear it every Friday on the news and it erks me so much!

Anyhow, rant over. Until next Friday. :\  Haha. I went to bed pretty early last night because the week is finally catching up with me, so I woke up feeling even MORE tired, ugg, but stuffed myself to the brim for my last long day of the week. Apples and Oats to the rescue.  And PB of course.  Only way to do it peeps.

My morning got a bit mixed up because at some point my watch stopped working last night and was only off by about 35 min to the car clock so when I was doing surveys and looking at the times they were all over the place!  Luckily I noticed the difference before getting too far into my surveys to fix the problem.

All while, ya know, getting hit by some black-throated sparrows fighting in the wind.  Yes, a bird ran into me.  Story of my life.  What else did you expect?

After finishing one project and having to drive a long way to the next, I was feeling hungry and settled to eat lunch before heading out again. I packed an all organic avocado, cucumber, tomato, lettuce sandwich on some TJ’s Fiber Multigrain Bread with a side of strawberries.

Oh man, the recolor feature in Window’s Live Writer are making my strawberries look like, uh, monsters!  Haha!

I thought having half of a huge avocado on my fiber bread would keep me full throughout the afternoon but nope.  So, I had a new Odwalla bar I picked up at the store and well, must have been hungry because the whole picture’s blurry!  Hah!  The Blueberry Swirl Bar was alright, nothing to rave about, because it tastes just like their Berries Omega Bar but with a frosting drizzle on top.

It was a long drive home so to keep me awake I slowly chewed on two ginger chews before giving up and needing a real pick me up of Mini Cadbury Eggs. Thank god Easter is almost over so I’ll stop eating them.  Geez.

Office work took a while but when I finished, my brain was fogged and I just wanted to eat dinner.  I had no idea what to have, and just dove into leftover roasted potatoes.  With ketchup.

And some of that awesome Chocolate PB Ice Cream.  Dinner of champions baby.  And ya know what?  No guilt, even if I haven’t run in almost a week!  Yowzers!  That’s a miracle for me folks; an absolute miracle.  Normally I’d be going crazy, but I gotta get better to be able to run.  Or there is not going to be a race.  And I WANT that race.

Now, I’m chill’n out, err, warming up, with some green tea peach tea and one of my new books from last weekend’s spending extravaganza: The Vegan’s Daily Companion.  I’m really liking taking a little bit of this to read a day, as it’s got something to keep me entertained for everyday of the week!

Tomorrow I’m heading out to town with Whit to support him in his first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament!!!  Wish him luck!

Those strawberries look amazing. We are just coming out of strawberry season here so they are all mushy and yuck. Booooooo winter in the southern hemisphere! :P

Yay for no guilt! I agree with everyone else about the strawberries.. they have such a great color! The thing irks me about strawberries is that I never know just how good (or bad) they will be!

So agreed on Friday, but now the weekend is almost over! :-( That Friday song is one of the reasons I rarely watch local news, when I was home sick one day I saw that talking twin baby video like 6 times in an hour!

The oats look great. Too funny on getting hit by a bird!
