Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your week is starting off well. I’m still on the edge about whether or not I’m catching a full on cold or flu but hopefully I’ll be on the mend in a few days because work doesn’t allow for me to be sick! No way no how when you’re a biologist!
Soo….lots of good eats today, kinda. Being sick and feeling like crap in the morning means I don’t feel like packing much other than…pb&j. I mean really, who likes packing food when they’re sick? Not I.
I tried my hardest to have something hearty for breakfast with my long day ahead…and stomach that couldn't decide what it wanted to do.
I settled with a Fruit and Bran muffin from TJ’s with a donut peach, blueberries and strawberries, topped with pb. Lasted me a good number of hours!
Late morning I snacked on half my container of grapes and saved the rest to go with my lunch.
Simple pb and cinnamon sandwich with those leftover grapes…
All day was spent out in the desert and it was crazy cold in some sections while crazy hot in others. I couldn’t decide whether to keep my hoodie on or off!
I had some snacks mid-afternoon of some trail mix and cereal before finally getting home and relaxing…and start gawking over my new purchases from Athleta!
I am really excited about these purchases! I have been using the same workout clothes for a lot longer than I would like admit and another plus, new workout clothes always make you feel more confident when you workout, especially if they’re cute! I like the colors and the jacket is going to rock come winter when there’s snow on the ground! Honey likes the jacket too, can you tell? She laid on all the other tops too. She approves. I do too. And I got all of them for great prices too! Double plus!
Soon enough I needed dinner, even though it was 5pm. I didn’t feel like cooking anything so what better than to just blend! I made my normal yummy smoothie with cereal and Attune Chocolate Munch.
Just right!
Now I’ve having some dried mango slices before I get ready for bed. I’m pooped! And I’ve got a long day of hiking for work tomorrow in the heat! Yikes!

LOVE your new purchases. It feels so good to buy new workout clothes...especially cute ones!
p.s- cute bowl too!
So true on the new workout clothing front - I just picked up a new top and pants, and I love wearing them. Not just because they are cute, but super comfy as well. Makes me want to get up and workout!
I love honey sitting on your top- too freaking cute!! I've heard great things about Athleta clothes but for some reason have never seen them in stores? Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. I recently bought a Lululemon top on clearance...still not cheap, but I felt so good in it that I had to get it!
Feel better! I have never tried the Althea clothing - but I just got a catalog in the mail yesterday.
Sometimes I think I spend more money on workout clothes than work clothes. Not a good habit!
I love the way you sliced that muffin in 3 to maximize the PB goodness!!! And that purple tank is my fave of the lot....
I always drool over the clothes in the Athleta catalogue but I have never bought any! If I had a job, I totally would. :)
I love that jacket!! I'm waiting for an Athleta to open here in Chicago.
Love the new workout clothes, I desperately need to update mine - very tempting.
I hope you feel better! It is no fun to be under the weather when you are an adult and actually have to carry on with life haha I love the new work-out clothes! I just got an Athleta magazine but I have never ordered anything. It looks super cute!
CUTE!!! Totally stuff I would have got too. ;)
are you pregnant o.O
oh man i am soo bad too about just wearing race shirts, but finally i realized some things were starting to hold smell and made myself invest. I LOVE those shirts, you did great!
I totes give you credit for slicing the muffin into sections, I've never thought of that but now I gotta try it :)
I LOVE workout clothes- honestly live in them everyday [if I don't have to dress up for work]! It's funny, whenever my fiance sees me in other clothes, he comments on how good I look, HA!
